Fall Baseball

We have been getting many inquiries regarding fall baseball options - below are the options for Elk River Baseball players:

OPTION 1) ELK RIVER YOUTH FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE -  Ages 7-9.   THIS LEAGUE IS RUN THROUGH ELK RIVER BASEBALL!

Some details regarding the league are as follows:

  • League is for kids who will ages 7-9 as of May 1, 2012
  • Registration ends Wednesday, August 31st
  • An evaluation and team designations will take place after that
  • Games will start Sunday, September 11th and will run for 5 weeks of double headers (total 10 games)
  • Games will be double headers on Sundays, starting at 12:30 each week.
  • Each team will have 1 practice max per week, date and time depending on the coach.
  • All rules will be the same as Majors with some minor revisions
  • Coaches ARE needed!!!!!  Please email info@elkriverbaseball.com if you are interested in coaching
  • Registration fee is $70
  • A maximum of 1 practice per week, depending on the coach

OPTION 2) MYAS fall competitive league - Ages 10+.   THIS LEAGUE IS RUN THROUGH MYAS (www.myas.org) and is intended for kids 10 and up.  There is a fall league for each age level (10U, 11U....etc), and also each skill level (recreational or competitive).

This league's age rule is dependent on your childs age as of May 1, 2012. If they turn 11 before May 1, 2012 they would have to play in the MYAS 11U fall league. In each MYAS league there is a recreational and a competitive baseball league playing against good talent throughout the Twin Cities on 5 consecutive Sundays (minimum two games per Sunday) starting September 12th.
 
If there is interest in joining an MYAS fall league, you can try to recruit other Elk River kids to sign up as a group or a team.  Feel free to email info@elkriverbaseball.com if you want to be put into contact with other Elk River kids looking to play - or if you are looking for other Elk River kids to join your group.  

The leagues are reasonably priced at $80 or $90/player.
