Welcome to Elk River Youth Baseball Minors Program!

  Minors is a non-competitive “coach pitch” league focusing on baseball fundamentals for Pre-K/Kindergarten ages.  

 Teams are made up of players from the Elk River community, and all games are held at Lincoln, and  Parker  Elementary School.

  There are no player evaluations and the League Commissioner randomly selects teams based mainly on the school they are attending or will be attending. 

Volunteer Checks of $250 are to be submitted to ERYB, 12671 Meadowvale Rd, Suite R, Elk River, MN 55330 prior to May 1st.  Attention Dana or Minors Commissioner. Each player is required to submit a volunteer check prior to the first game. Please add MINORS & child name to the memo line on your check.

  Minors will meet Monday nights at 6:00 pm starting the first Monday of May and will go through the last Monday of June.

1. Each practice/game will consist of a 30 minute practice, followed by a 3 inning game.
2. During the 3 inning game there are no outs and each player will bat.
3. This league uses a safety ball.
4. Each player will need a helmet.
5. The mid season Jamboree will be held June 5th, 6th, 7th 2020. Jamboree is a 2 game tournament held at Youth Athletic Complex.

ITEMS NEEDED:

1. Helmet - each player will need his or her own helmet.

2.  Glove - each player will need a glove.

3.  Bat - bats are optional, can be shared with one another. ERYB does not supply bats.

4.  Pants - pants are optional, shorts are acceptable.  

5.  Cleats - cleats are optional, tennis shoes are acceptable.
