Rookies (1st and 2nd Grade)

Definition:  Rookies is a non-competitive “machine pitch” league focusing on baseball fundamentals.
Location:  Teams are made up of players from the Elk River community, and all games are in Elk River. 
Evaluations/Teams:  There are no player evaluations and the League Commissioner randomly selects teams.
Practice/Game Nights:  Rookies will meet 1-2 nights per week (Wednesdays for sure) during May and June.  Each night will consist of a 60 minute practice, followed by a 3 inning game.
Notes:  This league uses a hard ball and has an end of the year jamboree.
